  1. . . .
Again a beautiful and wise article, Pierre
    .
I would like to add a little bit of pepper to it.
    .
When you find yourself on the wrong side of the “Berlin” wall, it is very clear that you are being ruled by an oppressive government – you KNOW you must disconnect.
    .
But what do you do, when you live at the right side of the “Berlin” wall – and are unable to see through much more sophisticated methods of mind control – thus a lack of freedom ?
    .
I refer to that part of “SOS” – where LRH compares political partys to the tone scale.
    .
With that type of open facism, like on the wrong side of the “Berlin” wall its simple – they tell you what they want, and what not. That’s 1.5 on the tonesccale.
    .
But what happens when politics move down and operate around 1.1 – covert hostility?
    .
They are still hostile to your freedom – but they smile at you – and tell you lies . . .
    .
I just commented a “Der SPIEGEL” article on Lance Armstrong.
    .
Here you have a great sportsman, who is a great liar at the same time.
    .
The character of german and american think tanks, as they call people nowadays that use logic to solve problems – is very different.
    .
Amerikan thinkers have no problem with that long chain of lies, that accompany almost every observation into american military philosophy in general and the very disturbing work of the CIA and the many unresolved crimes & lies it produces.
    .
German thinkers KNOW that the NAZI’s were national Socialists, financed by wall street, they KNOW the east Socialists were financed by the USSR, they KNOW 1.600 NAZI-scientists were the “founding fathers” to the CIA in 1947, they KNOW that Obama lied on closing Guantanamo . . .
    .
So today you can go to the land of the free – and end up in a jail somewhere – without anybody knowing . . .
    .
The “Berlin” wall was taken down by peacefull German resistance – I am waiting that peacefull americans take down the oppressive monster called the CIA . . .

  2. Well you said it. I did grow up in East Germany behind the Iron Curtain. When I did reach the age of 18 years I did split, meaning I left East Germany illegally. It was a high crime then to leave that Country. One could get shot for it or be imprisoned as well as ones family being split up and partially incarcerated while the kids of those who had left had to suffer through a reorientation the government ways of thinking.
